What’s storywarp?
The storyteller always knows more…
storywarp is an idea that sprang out of a chat about story ingredients: the archetypal presences that haunt our lives. But there’s so much more to say, and the event has developed into a series of exploratory conversations. Turns out there’s no shortage of material and ideas… in fact, our only challenge has been deciding what *not* to talk about!
storywarp is an informal and interactive conference where we set a panel of four very different story experts in front of a lively crowd. Together, we explore the persistent appeal of stories, investigate how and why we make them, and look at some new and unusual ways of delivering them.
These events are held on weekday evenings in alternate months. Every storywarp consists of two parts: the conference part, and then the mingling and beers afterwards. Events are open to the public and bring together a diverse group of people from all industries and backgrounds. storywarp offers a great opportunity to speak with people you wouldn’t normally get to meet, in a relaxed and friendly environment where new ideas are genuinely welcome.
